Questions, answered
What does a well-woman exam include?
A health history review, physical exam, breast exam, Pap smear cervical cancer screening, pelvic exam, STI screening if desired, and blood pressure, heart rate, and BMI evaluation.
How often do I need one?
Once a year for most women 18 and up, or sooner if something feels off. Your provider may tailor screening frequency to your age and history.
Do you refer for mammograms?
Yes. Breast exams are part of the visit, and we provide mammogram referrals when they are due or when anything needs a closer look.
How much does it cost?
The office visit is $100. A self-pay Pap lab is an additional $80. Other tests are priced separately.
Can I talk about hormones or other concerns at the same visit?
Absolutely. Many patients use their annual visit to discuss hormones, cycle changes, mood, or anything else. We take the time to listen.
